The upcoming fourth edition of the GCCI Textile Leadership Conclave 2025, scheduled for March 8, will focus on boosting cotton yield and addressing key issues in the textile industry. Organized by the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI), this event will bring together stakeholders from various segments of the textile value chain, including technical textiles, ginning, spinning, weaving, garmenting, and textile machinery manufacturing.
The conclave will foster meaningful discussions aimed at driving innovation, sustainability, and collaboration within the industry. Sandeep Engineer, President of GCCI, emphasized the event’s role in promoting forward-thinking strategies and positioning Gujarat and India as global leaders in technical textiles. The Chairperson of the GCCI Textile Task Force, Saurin Parikh, stressed the need for improving cotton yield, highlighting the importance of adopting sustainable cultivation practices to boost India’s yield from 461 kgs per hectare to match the global average of 850 kgs per hectare.
In addition, the event will offer discounted Anti Mullerian Hormone (AMH) and Anti CCP tests at rates 50% lower than private hospitals, providing an additional benefit to attendees.
