Puma to partner with Re&Up to scale a fully circular textile solutionPuma to partner with Re&Up to scale a fully circular textile solution

Puma has entered into a multi-year partnership with Re&Up Recycling Technologies, a circulartech startup, to scale a fully circular textile solution. This collaboration will focus on converting textile waste into next-generation recycled cotton fibers and recycled polyester chips, aligning with Puma’s Vision 2030 sustainability goals. Circularity is a key part of these goals, and Puma has already made strides with its Re:Fibre textile-to-textile recycling initiative.

Re&Up joins the Re:Fibre initiative as a major raw material partner, supporting Puma in reducing its reliance on bottle-recycled polyester. This partnership is part of Puma’s broader global commitment to enabling circularity and reducing textile waste. Recycled raw materials from Re&Up will be integrated into Puma’s local supply chain, allowing the Re:Fibre initiative to expand in the Americas.

Puma aims to use 30% recycled polyester fabric made from fibre-to-fibre recycling by 2030. Re&Up’s technology processes complex blended fabrics like polycotton and polyester-elastane, which are typically difficult to recycle, along with post-consumer and post-industrial waste, further advancing Puma’s circularity goals.
