The Uttar Pradesh government is set to establish a state- of- the- art cloth demesne in Ramna, Varanasi, within a time. The action, commanded by the UP Handloom and Textile Department, aims to revolutionise the region’s cloth geography by creating an intertwined ecosystem for needlewomen, crafters, and entrepreneurs. According to K. Vijeyendra Pandian, Commissioner and Director of the department, the forthcoming cloth demesne will work Uttar Pradesh’s Technical Textile Policy, with a focus on invention, exploration, and value addition. The Northern India Textile Research Association( NITRA) has been assigned with preparing a detailed feasibility report, anticipated to be completed within 90 days.
