The Indian International Textile Machinery Exhibitions Society (India ITME Society) will host the third edition of the Global Textile Technology and Engineering Show (GTTES) in Mumbai from February 21 to 23, 2025. This exhibition will focus on the latest developments in textile machinery, emphasizing innovation, sustainability, and productivity.
According to Ketan Sanghvi, chairman of ITME India, the future of investments in the textile sector will be driven by the need for sustainability and productivity, with machinery incorporating energy efficiency, automation, artificial intelligence, and other advancements.
The GTTES will showcase machinery and technologies for the entire post-spinning textile value chain, including weaving, processing, finishing, garments, knitting, and technical textiles. Eco-friendly practices and sustainable growth will be at the forefront of this exhibition.
The event will feature 175 exhibitors from India and four other countries, representing eight key categories. A notable highlight includes 42 exhibitors in weaving and 38 in processing segments. The show expects a global turnout, with business-to-business meetings and delegations from countries like Sri Lanka and several African nations.
Additionally, the Chhattisgarh government will conduct a special investment promotion program to showcase the state’s opportunities for investors in the textile sector.
