  • Chitakheda Industrial Area: MPIDC is planning the development of a new industrial district in Chitakheda to accommodate the surge in demand for industrial land. The required land has already been secured, and planning is underway.
  • Investment Boom:
    • Two major textile companies have announced combined investments of Rs. 800 crore (approx. US $94 million).
    • Swaraj Suitings Pvt. Ltd. from Bhilwara launched its first phase with an investment of Rs. 150 crore (approx. US $17.63 million), creating around 750 direct jobs. The total project is valued at Rs. 450 crore.
    • Suvidhi Rayons Pvt. Ltd. is investing Rs. 350 crore (approx. US $41.13 million) in Morvan, Jawad, expected to generate 2,000 direct jobs.
  • Expansion Beyond Textiles:
    • According to MPIDC Executive Director Rajesh Rathod, Neemuch’s industrial growth isn’t limited to textiles. The Jhanjharwada industrial sector already houses fully occupied units, contributing over 8,000 jobs.
  • Wider Industrial Support:
    • In FY 2024–2025, 1,070+ industrial units received land allotment letters.
    • 330+ units participated in inauguration or foundation stone-laying ceremonies.
    • MPIDC has facilitated financial support worth Rs. 5,262 crore (approx. US $618 million) to various industries.

This initiative is expected to transform Chitakheda and Neemuch into a thriving industrial hub, drawing significant investments and creating thousands of jobs—particularly in textile and apparel manufacturing.
