Tuni Textile Mills Secures Orders Worth Up to ₹30.17 Crore
Mumbai, September 24, 2026: Tuni Textile Mills Limited has strengthened its domestic order pipeline after securing three orders from Indian buyers with a combined value of approximately ₹29.51 crore to ₹30.17 crore.
The orders, received during September 2026, cover around 1.975 million metres of woven shirting and other finished fabrics. The product mix includes poly-cotton shirting, higher-cotton-content fabrics and other woven fabric varieties, reflecting continued demand for blended and shirting fabrics in the domestic market.
Three domestic buyers place fabric orders
The latest orders have come from Northakross Syntex, Sharda Corporation and Disha Clothings, covering different fabric specifications and quantities.
Northakross Syntex has placed the largest order for approximately 1 million metres of finished fabric. Sharda Corporation has ordered around 0.575 million metres of poly-cotton shirting and fabrics with a higher cotton content, while Disha Clothings has placed an order for approximately 0.400 million metres of woven shirting across different poly-cotton specifications.
The diversified order mix gives Tuni Textile Mills an opportunity to cater to multiple requirements across its existing woven fabric portfolio.
Orders equivalent to nearly annual manufacturing capacity
The combined quantity of 1.975 million metres is equivalent to approximately 98.75% of the company’s stated annual manufacturing capacity of 2 million metres.
The orders are expected to be executed over the next 60 to 120 days, while the Northakross Syntex order is scheduled for delivery up to January 5, 2027.
According to the company, the requirements can be fulfilled through a combination of its own manufacturing operations, job work, sourcing and trading activities, depending on product specifications and execution requirements.
Focus on woven and blended fabrics
Tuni Textile Mills has been operating in the textile sector since 1987. Its manufacturing facility at MIDC Murbad, Maharashtra, is equipped with European-made rapier looms and supports its woven fabric manufacturing operations.
The company’s product capabilities include polyester, cotton, polyester-cotton, polyester-viscose and other blended fabrics. Its weaving portfolio also covers constructions such as plain, twill, Oxford, satin, herringbone and poplin.
This product diversity enables the company to address requirements across different segments of the domestic shirting and woven-fabric market.
Management highlights quality and timely execution
Commenting on the orders, Narendra Kumar Sureka, Managing Director of Tuni Textile Mills Limited, said the new business reflects the current demand being seen for the company’s shirting and blended-fabric range.
He added that the different fabric requirements across the three orders are aligned with the company’s existing weaving capabilities. The company will focus on maintaining consistent quality, meeting customer specifications and completing deliveries within the committed timelines.
Rights issue supports broader business initiatives
The new orders come as Tuni Textile Mills continues to undertake measures aimed at strengthening its business platform.
The company has approved a Rights Issue of up to 48,98,66,250 fully paid-up equity shares, aggregating up to ₹4,898.66 lakh, at an issue price of ₹1 per share. The issue is proposed in the ratio of 15 Rights Equity Shares for every 4 equity shares held by eligible shareholders as of September 16, 2026, following approval of the Letter of Offer by the Rights Issue Committee.
The company continues to operate through its manufacturing and trading platform at MIDC Murbad, combining its weaving capabilities with sourcing and trading activities.
